The main objective of İstanbul Kültür University Business Administration Doctoral Program is to train qualified academicians. In this respect, the program aims to equip the students admitted to the Program with theoretical knowledge and with the competence to work in a research-oriented manner. Our aim is to provide the students with the ability to make independent research and interpret scientific events from a broad and deep perspective, determine the necessary steps to reach new syntheses, and to enable national and international researches.
Period of Study
4 (four) Academic Years (8 Semesters) for those admitted with a master’s degree.
5 (five) Academic Years (10 Semesters) for those admitted with bachelor’s degree.
Program Opening Periods
Applications to the program are accepted twice a year in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Graduation Requirements:
In order to graduate from the Ph.D. program, at least one article must be published in a national or international peer-reviewed journal or accepted for publication, or the full text of at least one publication must be published in the proceedings of a national or international congress or accepted for publication before the submission of the dissertation. Dear Students;
The main objective of the Business Administration PhD Program is to train qualified academicians. In this direction, the aim is to equip the students admitted to the program with theoretical knowledge and equip them with the competence to work in a research-oriented manner. Candidates who are accepted to the program take their area courses given by expert faculty members in the first year. Those with undergraduate or graduate degree from departments other than Business Administration take the scientific preparatory class. After the Department of Business Administration courses are completed, the PhD qualifying exam is taken. Students who pass the exam can write their thesis in one of the fields of management, accounting, finance, marketing and production. Students who successfully defense their thesis earn the title of Doctor of Business Administration.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION TO ALL PROGRAMS
During the application candidates must bring the following:
- Copy of Diploma or Temporary Graduation Certificate,
- Copy of Transcript,
- Copy of ALES Certificate,
- Certificate of Military Service Status (For male candidates),
- 2 passport photos,
- Copy of the Identity Card,
- Copy of the Foreign Language Certificate for PhD Programs,
During the final registration students must submit the following,
- Certified copy of Diploma or Temporary Graduation Certificate,
- Certified copy of Transcript,
- ALES Certificate, (To be printed out at the Institute.)
- Original of Military Service Status (For male candidates),
- 6 passport photos,
