The objectives of the Program of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master are to provide higher education in line with the contemporary and modern education philosophy, mission and vision of Istanbul Kültür University, to provide physiotherapists with knowledge and skills in specialized subjects in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, to support the development of new evidence-based practices, to develop students' scientific thinking abilities and research skills and to train specialist physiotherapists who will contribute to the field.
EDUCATION LANGUAGE
The language of education of the Program of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master is Turkish.
PROGRAM DURATION
4 Semesters
LECTURES
Program courses are conducted face to face. The curriculum is shared with the students at the beginning of each semester. Classes are generally held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
OTHER TERMS
- It is obligatory to take 30 ECTS each semester in the program.
- In order to graduate, students must complete the "Master's Thesis" in addition to the course load and take the "Seminar" course.
- Students are expected to be involved in research and practice processes during the course period.
PROGRAM OPENING PERIODS
Applications to the program are made twice a year, in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Istanbul Kültür University, Graduate Education Institute, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Thesis Master's Program is planned in a way that will enable physiotherapists who are interested in specialized subjects in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation with the course options in the education curriculum to develop their professional knowledge theoretically and practically in the light of science, and encourage lifelong learning. With the Motion Analysis Application and Evaluation, Application and Research Center (IKU-HAM), Istanbul Kültür University also offers the opportunity to improve the quality of a rich infrastructure master's program in which clinical applications can be evaluated on the axis of analytical and cause-effect relationships. The Program of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master with Thesis is an ideal program for Physiotherapists who are especially interested in this field, with its experienced academic staff in the measurement and evaluation of the concept of movement, which is the basis of Physiotherapy, and its high technologies and training and experience opportunities in an exclusive field. We are hoping to welcome physiotherapists who will contribute to the development of physiotherapy, which is a respected profession in our country and in the world, who are eager to learn and research, and who want to support their own development.
SPECIAL ACCEPTANCE CONDITIONS
The applicant is to have the title of Physiotherapist by graduating from the four-year School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, or the School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, or the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of Health Sciences Faculties, affiliated with Higher Education Institutions.
