Logistics Distance Learning Master’s Degree Program Without Thesis

Logistics sector is one of the leading young and dynamic sectors in this era in which the globalization process has accelerated and the competition between institutions has begun to turn into supply chain competition.

The aim of the program is to educate qualified executives who are competent in the fields of Foreign Trade and Customs, Logistics and Supply Chain. The program aims the candidates who will be employed in the logistics sector to gain knowledge about the basic functions of logistics, to gain analytical thinking ability, to have the ability of rapid decision-making and taking initiative, and to be able to contribute to the performance of companies with a strategic management perspective.

Program Graduates

With the elective courses to be taken, Logistics Distance Learning Master’s Degree Program without Thesis will have graduates in two majors: Foreign Trade and Customs and Logistics and Supply Chain.

Foreign Trade and Customs Practices Program

The program aims to train qualified manpower needed by the economy, including import and export operations of growing companies that comply with the Customs Legislation, in order to compete in the foreign markets they aim to reach.
 

Logistics and Supply Chain Program:

In addition to being a rapidly developing sector in the world and in our country, logistics requires the integration of services such as transportation, storage, packaging, customs and distribution. Logistics, which is one of the rapidly increasing applications in recent years, has become one of the issues that the business world has focused on. With the expansion of global markets, customers and institutions also expect development. This program aims to create a qualified employment profile which is equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills for the logistics sector where competition is very intense and which can adapt to the sector and to make academic progress.

Candidates to be employed in the sector have knowledge about the basic functions of logistics such as Logistics Concept and Logistics Management, Strategic Logistics Management, International Logistics, Logistics and Transportation, Transportation Management, Road Transportation, Maritime Transportation, Railway Transportation, Airline Transportation, Pipeline Transportation, and Logistics Systems Analysis and Design. They also acquire the competence to master all managerial processes. Graduates will have developed their careers and skills in their fields and will be equipped to advance in the relevant management levels.

The program enables full-time employees to pursue a master's degree as they are independent of time and space, who wish to strengthen their career by taking advantage of the opportunities offered by information technologies. By this means, it is thought that we will achieve the goal of “education hand in hand with the business world” developed in accordance with the strategy of the University.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION TO ALL PROGRAMS

During the application candidates must bring the following:  

  • Copy of Diploma or Temporary Graduation Certificate,
  • Copy of Transcript,
  • Copy of ALES Certificate, (ALES certificate is not required for Non-Thesis Programs)
  • Certificate of Military Service Status (For male candidates),
  • 2 passport photos,
  • Copy of the Identity Card,
  • Copy of the Foreign Language Certificate for PhD Programs,

During the final registration students must submit the following:

 

  • Certified copy of Diploma or Temporary Graduation Certificate,
  • Certified copy of Transcript,
  • ALES Certificate, (To be printed out at the Institute.)
  • Original of Military Service Status (For male candidates),
  • 6 passport photos,
  • Foreign Language Certificate for PhD Programs, (To be printed out at the Institute)
  • First installment of Tuition Fee,
