The need for executive candidates in the field of international economy and finance has an increasing pattern in line with the developments in the world.  International Economics and Finance Graduate Programs at İKÜ Institute of Social Sciences provides students with an education in the theoretical and applied fields of economics and finance at international standards, with a knowledge and experience in regard to the latest developments in economics and finance. Theoretical courses will enhance the ability of students in analysis, problem solving and decision making processes in economics and finance. With a broad spectrum of elective courses, students will be able to focus on their fields of interest during and after their graduate studies and they will gain a deeper knowledge and background on specific research fields.

Program with Thesis:  4 semesters

Program without Thesis: 3 semesters

• 21 credit/hour is required in the program with thesis and 30 credit/hour is required in the program without thesis.
• The medium of instruction is English.
• In order to graduate, “Master's Thesis” is required in addition to the normal course load in the program with thesis. Students must prepare “Term Project” in the program without thesis.
• Evaluations in all programs will be based on ALES, GPA, and interview.
• The program runs from 18:00 to 22:00.

Program Opening Periods:  Applications to the program are accepted in the Fall and Spring semesters.
