The IKU Graduate Education Institute's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Without-Thesis Master's Program aims to develop entrepreneurship through an interdisciplinary approach that goes beyond traditional techniques. Our program, which focuses on Management and Organization, Innovation, Project Management, Strategy, and Finance, provides training to meet the knowledge needs of entrepreneurs in increasingly competitive regions, enabling them to survive in cumbersome large-scale ventures and achieve long-term success in smaller regions. The curriculum includes theoretical and practical courses, as well as courses that enhance entrepreneurial characteristics, teach entrepreneurial attitudes and skills, and raise awareness about creating new businesses and employment. This program aims to train both independent entrepreneurs who will establish their own businesses and corporate entrepreneurs, enabling them to adapt to current technological developments.
Considering the fact that diversity in observation and knowledge provides opportunities for comprehensive and critical thinking, the program's multifaceted curriculum allows for candidacy not only for entrepreneurship graduates but also for graduates from different disciplines such as economics, finance, business administration, international marketing, or commerce. In our program, which encourages interdisciplinary studies, the synergy created by bringing together students from different regions in their areas of interest, reinforced by our academics' theoretical and applied courses, will be the key to many doors.

Dear Students,
Our Master’s Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management is among the first graduate programs established in Türkiye in this field. The program is designed to instill in students an appreciation for the importance of interdisciplinary thinking within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Although entrepreneurship may appear to be a relatively new concept, today’s rapidly changing world makes it increasingly difficult to stay current with emerging ideas and evolving bodies of knowledge. At the same time, we are witnessing a period in which new tools and methodologies are continuously being introduced. For this reason, aspiring entrepreneurs need a solid foundation not only within their own fields of expertise but also across a broader range of disciplines in order to keep pace with change, adapt to new developments, and actively participate in shaping them.
One of the defining characteristics of successful entrepreneurs is their ability to use knowledge in diverse ways and transform it into success at the right moment. With this in mind, the Master’s Program in Innovation Management, established under the Department of Innovation Management, aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to recognize opportunities, transform them into marketable and sustainable products and services, and contribute to employment creation and economic value.
The program is designed not only to educate independent entrepreneurs who aspire to establish their own businesses but also to cultivate corporate entrepreneurs capable of driving innovation within organizations. It seeks to equip students with the competencies needed to adapt to contemporary technological developments, play active roles in corporate entrepreneurship initiatives, and identify opportunities in areas that remain underserved by either the public or private sectors. Developing these competencies requires exposure to diverse perspectives and knowledge sources, as well as the ability to think critically and comprehensively. For this reason, our graduate program welcomes applicants from a wide range of academic backgrounds.
I would like to emphasize that our academic staff consistently encourages students to embrace interdisciplinary collaboration and supports them in pursuing innovative perspectives. We would be delighted to welcome you to our program and look forward to meeting students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds who can combine knowledge, experience, and ideas within an interactive learning environment.
With best regards,
Head of the Department
