Dear Graduates and Families,
The Graduation Ceremony you have been eagerly awaiting will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center, Ataköy Campus of Istanbul Kültür University.
ABOUT THE CEREMONY
- Graduate participation applications will be submitted online.
- The names of graduates who do not complete the online application process will not be announced or displayed during the ceremony.
- Application Deadline: Monday, June 22, 2026
Date: Thursday, June 25, 2026
Time: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Venue: Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center, Ataköy Campus, Istanbul Kultur University
Graduates are required to arrive at the Ataköy Campus at least one hour before the ceremony begins.
FOR GUESTS
- Guests will be admitted to the auditorium one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.
- We kindly ask all guests to follow the seating arrangements indicated by event staff and information signs, and to remain within the designated guest areas throughout the ceremony.
- On the day of the ceremony, the stage will be accessible only to graduates and authorized event personnel.
- For the safety and security of all participants, please follow the instructions and guidance of security personnel at all venue entrances and exits.
- To ensure the smooth operation of the ceremony and avoid technical or visual disruptions, we kindly request that photographs requiring graduates to leave the auditorium be taken after the cap-tossing ceremony.

** Family members may collect caps and gowns on behalf of graduates who are unable to come to the Ataköy Campus.
CAP AND GOWN PAYMENT PROCESS
• Academic Gown Fee: 800 TL
• Graduation Cap Fee: 175 TL (VAT Included)
• Graduation caps are personal items and are non-refundable.
• Payments for caps and gowns must be made through the SAP Orion System
(Payment Transactions > Cap Payment – Gown Payment)
GOWN RETURN PROCESS
• Graduates wishing to return their gowns must deliver them to the Inventory Unit Warehouse between June 25 and June 30, 2026.
• After returning the gown, graduates must submit a refund request via iade.iku.edu.tr.
• Deposits for returned gowns will be refunded to the credit cards used for payment between July 27 and August 7, 2026.
Please note: There is no parking facility available at the Ataköy Campus of Istanbul Kultur University.
