The Integrated Master’s Program conducted by the Graduate School of Istanbul Kültür University is a special academic development model that allows undergraduate students with strong academic performance to take graduate-level courses while continuing their undergraduate education. The program aims to support students in planning their graduate studies at an early stage, strengthen their academic development, and enhance their professional competencies.
Within the scope of the program, students may take courses from relevant master’s programs during their undergraduate studies and gain the opportunity to adapt to graduate education at an early stage. These courses are recorded on undergraduate transcripts as “non-credit” courses and are not included in the undergraduate GPA calculation. If students successfully complete these courses during the program, the courses may later be counted toward their graduate studies during the final registration process for the master’s program.
To apply for the Integrated Master’s Program, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at Istanbul Kültür University, apply no earlier than the beginning of the seventh semester, have a minimum GPA of 3.00, and have successfully completed all courses taken in previous semesters. Applications are evaluated in accordance with the procedures of the relevant department, faculty, and department/division of graduate studies.
During the program, students may take a minimum of one and a maximum of two graduate-level courses per semester. Course delivery, attendance requirements, and evaluation processes are carried out in accordance with the Istanbul Kültür University Graduate Education and Training Regulations. To successfully complete a course within the program, students must receive a minimum grade of B-.
Students who complete their undergraduate education within eight semesters may finalize their registration in the relevant master’s program during the first semester following graduation. During the final registration stage, the ALES score and foreign language requirements determined by the relevant graduate program are evaluated. Courses previously completed successfully by students who meet these requirements are directly recognized within the master’s program.
Applications for the program are conducted within the framework of the following principles:
a) Applicants must be currently registered students in an undergraduate program at Istanbul Kültür University.
b) Undergraduate students may apply at the beginning of their seventh semester at the earliest.
